Lots to do

Today we pushed Aidan's nap later so he could go to our neighbor and friend's birthday. Isabelle turned one this past week and we went over to celebrate with them. Aidan had fun playing in their play room and Logan snoozed on the couch. We did not get side by side pictures but the boys were wearing matching outfits! We stayed as long as Aidan allowed. He was ready for nap. He took a late nap and then we had our friend Jennifer and Richard over and their daughter Sara. Sara was on the blog back in the day. Aidan and Sara are 9 days apart. They had fun playing together, eating dinner and running around the back yard. However, we did not get out the camera. We could have gotten some nice pictures though! We're hoping to see them in the upcoming months so we can get pictures then!

Goodberry's

Tonight Grandma called us and asked if we would and could meet them at Goodberry's. They wanted to take Aidan out for ice cream. This was Aidan's first chance to go out for ice cream and first time having Goodberry's. Aidan enjoyed his ice cream, people watching, running around the building and watching airplanes with Grandpa. Logan snoozed in his car seat while we hung out for an hour or so. It was such a pretty night. We took tons of pictures so enjoy the slide show!

Big and Tiny at the Pool Again!

Had to take another side by side shot of the boys. Here they are at the pool! They had a nice time! Good napping for Logan and all the good playing made for good napping for Aidan too!

Phil comes for a visit

Phil was able to come down to NC for a few days. This was the first time he was able to meet Logan. Emily was able to come down a couple days after Phil. Here is a little video of a few pictures we were able to snap on our camera of Phil, Emily and the boys.

Bathtub Art

Aidan just recently got bath markers and crayons. He really enjoys coloring A LOT. He colors TV screens, our storm door, windows, walls, floors and his coloring books. He also stashes crayons too. We have to keep a head count on them to make sure we won't find more art work elsewhere. So, the bath crayons give him the ability to draw on the bath tub walls. A very nice compromise. Here is some of his art work and ours. (We had to teach him!) :-)

Grandpa's Birthday!!

We went to Carrie's parents house today for her Dad's birthday celebration. The boys had a nice time with everyone!
Papa and Logey Grandpa (Carrie's Dad) and his 5 Grandchildren! Garreth and Aidan (Aidan LOVES Garreth) If you mention Garreth's name or seeing Garreth it will make a bad mood disappear!!

Family Pool Time!!

Since it is a weekend day Dad finally got to go the pool with us. Aidan showed him how well he does in the water. The baby pool is being repainted and so in the meantime we're having fun in the shallow end. However, it's not too shallow for Aidan!! Logan just enjoys hanging out in the stroller, eating a bottle and every once in a while we dip his feet in the water.

Logey after bath

Logan enjoys baths when he is awake for them. Sadly though the time we get to bath him is usually 10 pm or later so he sleeps through the entire bath. He's a VERY good sleeper. So after a nice warm bath and getting bundled back up he is just SO cute we had to take pictures this time. A yummy clean baby!

Logan's 2 Months and Ansley's Recital!!!

LOGAN'S 2 MONTHS OLD!! Logan is doing very well right now. He is growing very well. We still are sometimes not sure what he wants/needs, but we're doing better. He is much happier than his first few weeks of life. :-)
His stats are:
Height: 24.25 in (10%)

Weight: 9.5 lbs (10%)

Head Circum.: 15.75 in (50%)

He is still very small but since birth has almost doubled in size. The doctor says most babies do this by 6 months of age. He is still our little tiny!! Oh yes and cousin's Garreth and Ansley have nicknamed him "Logey." We spent Logan's 2 month birthday going to cousin Ansley's annual dance recital. Aidan thoroughly enjoyed watching the numerous girls dancing! Logan snoozed the majority of it.

25 years!!

Tonight we went to Carrie's Grandparents to celebrate one of her Uncle and Aunt's 25th Wedding Anniversary!! Even though it was a few weeks past their day it was the only time everyone could get together! Here are pictures of the bride and groom feeding each other cake!! The other pictures are of Tabitha enjoying the cake and cheesing for the camera!!
