Road Trip!!

Well, my cousin Jeremy got married last Saturday. All the way in Ohio! We were going to fly but the airlines aren't doing too well and the one we were going to fly no longer exists. (That's what my parents said.) So, we rode up my Grandpa and Grandma. I did not mind being any my car seat. We stopped to have some good breakfasts and I ate my bottles in the car. I sure like to look at everything going by outside the car! Mom, Dad and Grandma kept me entertained. Once we got to Ohio we were in the car a lot. Going back and forth from the hotel to my Great Grandparents. I got to meet so many people! It was a little overwhelming at ti mes. However, I got to see my cousins too. It was funny seeing them somewhere other than NC. I was so excited to be at a wedding I kept wanting to giggle and talk in the ceremony. It was sooo much fun! I fell asleep at the reception and woke back up in my Grandpa's car. The next day we drove back home. I was sick of the car and got really frustrated for the last hour of the trip. Here are some pictures and one of the best ones is of a funny car we saw.

Chicken!!

Well, my Mom and Dad are starting to feed me new things. Since I have had hives we had to take away a lot of foods I usually eat. So in the mean time for variety they started cooking up some chicken soup and mashed the chicken and carrots up for me. No Baby food here!! I sure like it and really enjoy eating like a big boy. Can't you tell??

Mommy and Daddy's "B"

Well, on Sunday we went to church and then had breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa's. I jumped in the jumper and then ate a nice peach and some cheerios. Just before eating Mom noticed a hive on my cheek. But, everyone else said maybe something rubbed my face. Then about an hour later, I got a whole bunch all over the side of my face. Mom put ice on it so I wouldn't itch it. Then we came home and the fun began. The hives were all over my face, arms, shoulders and back. Mom called the doctor because I am not supposed to have allergy meds. ( I am too young.) Then made a trip to the store and came back with some disgusting Bubble Gum flavored Benedryl (the only dye-free flavor). The hives battle has only been won now for almost a day. That medicine sure made me sleepy and all of the itching made me cranky. Monday we went to see the doctor he said it was something I ate in the past few days. It did not have to be anything "new" and more than likely wasn't. It was something I have eaten before. So, in two weeks Mom and Dad get to try and make me have hives again. They're thinking it was the applesauce and blueberry food I ate. The doctor said once we figure it out (IF we do) we won't eat that food for a few years and we should overcome it. Soo...let's hope!! Hives sure are no fun at all.

My First Fourth of July

Well, sorry it took so long to update this. Here it is almost one week later. I spent the day at the pool. After my morning nap I went with Mom and Dad to the pool. We hung out there with our neighbors, The Whirlow's and The Barna's. We had a nice time. I napped in my stroller, floated in my float, splashed, drank pool water, at dinner, watched all the swimmers and took a nice poop too! Mom and Dad thought I was good, but I just could not help but to poop in my swim diaper. What a mess...needless to say we left the pool after that. Then we had the neighbors over for burgers. And then the fun began. We had a thunderstorm and the power went out!! It was out until 3:30 am. It was hot and sticky. The neighbors were all locked out of their houses. (Everyone uses their garage door...no power..the opener..no work!) My new buddy Isabelle was here too. She was not a fan of being hot either. Her and I had a hard time sleeping. Her Mom and Dad remembered that we had a key to their door, so they spent the night at home and the Whirlow's stayed in the guest room until the power came back on. So I have a 4th of July outfit, I was wearing it and spit up on it. Then Mom and Dad were going to take pictures but, the power went out...Nuts! We'll have to do a post 4th picture!

Oh I keep forgetting...

By the way, I have two teeth now! It all started the day of my 6 month check up. Two weeks later my first tooth came in. At the beach it started again and two weeks later my second one. Today Mom noticed the drool faucet going again. So, we'll see in two weeks. Especially if I started getting whiny.
