Our Boys

So during all the photo commotion Aidan was making a stash of items at the front door. They are various "toys" he is allowed to play with and some footwear. We found this picture worthy.

Here are our sweet little men before bed. Mom had fun picking out some new PJs and they are color coordinated.

Thing 1 and Thing 2

The boys got some neat shirts as a gift a while back. Thankfully Logan sort of fits in his now. We needed to get some pictures of them matching once again. While we were in the spirit of pictures we decided to take one especially for Uncle Phil.

Another Birthday!

Today we celebrated Miss Ansley's 5th Birthday. Apparently we forgot we had a camera. We had a nice time and only took one picture. Good thing we really like the picture! :-) The boys had a nice time. Aidan sure loves going to his cousins house and playing with them and all their things. Logan doesn't mind he naps through anything.

Aidan got to go over to Nana and Grandpop's today and play with the kid sized basketball goal they now have for him and Logan. He had a nice time. Oh yes...baum=ball and baumbaumbaum=basketball or football.

Aidan loves Cooper & Cooper loves Aidan = Aidan climbs on Cooper & Cooper takes it Cooper was minding his business this afternoon when Aidan felt the urge to ride him. Here is the end result. Cooper being the sweet gentle giant he is did not mind one bit especially since Aidan is gentle with him.

Just another weekend...

We had Gracie and Dixie visit this weekend. Dixie really loves the boys. She decided she needed to be with Logan. She laid down next to him and would periodically lick his face, arms and hands.

Here's our sweet happy boy. This is a typical pleasant Logan but for some reason we feel like every smile or look is just the absolute sweetest. He's such a laid back guy.

Here was a snuggle with Carrie before they headed to bed. We don't want to wish them older but it will be nice when they both can steadily sit on our laps. :-)

Breakin' out the Bumbo

We tried our little Logan in the Bumbo today. He did a great job, he just has a bit more wiggle room than his brother did. :-) After the Bumbo Logan decided to pose with Mom. Aidan was being crazy rocking in the recliner.
Oh yes and Aidan likes the Bumbo too. (this was first thing this morning)

The boys in the morning

We have two early risers. It takes a bit to get things rolling in the morning. Logan wakes to eat and then is back to sleep pretty quickly. Aidan likes to veg out while he is waking up. Here are them this morning.

No shirts please!!

Aidan has recently decided that shirts are a bother. He will pull at the neck of the shirt while walking up to you grunting to take it off...

A Birthday Party

Today is cousin Garreth's 8th Birthday party!! Here are a few pictures of the boys while we were at Mel's. My favorite is the last one...my three boys. They were getting ready to sing "Happy Birthday" to Garreth!

Logan Joseph is 3 months old!!

Today Logan is three months old!! We both agree that it is the longest/quickest 3months ever. The time flew by when Aidan was this young however this time seems to be slow yet quick. Logan is a very pleasant little man. He goes with the flow unless he is strapped in his car seat. He is not a big fan when he has been laying out and then strapped in. He is wanting to be held more but mostly hollers for his independence. He loves to stretch out and go to town wiggling, kicking, and talking. He likes to roll up onto either side too. He's not much a fan of tummy time and has rolled himself over on "accident" a few times. He loves to chat when you give him the chance. He'll talk on his own but really pick it up if you are making eye contact and directly speaking to him. He's weighing in around 12.5 lbs as of Monday. We need to take some height measurements however he is sleeping right now. We can't believe how much he has grown and can't imagine life without him!!

Blueberry Pancakes

This morning we made blueberry pancakes for breakfast. We bought the blueberry's from the Farmer's Market on Friday. They met the Aidan seal of approval. Logan has a lot to look forward to next year!!!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!! Today Andrew's parents came over in the morning to visit with us. We had a nice time and the boys showed off their matching 4th of July outfits. After nap, we headed over to Carrie's Grandparents house to celebrate her Grandma's Birthday(It was June 21st). This was the first time we all were available for celebrating it. We had brats, burgers, corn (fresh from the Farmer's Market) and much more food. Once it got dark Grandpa (Carrie's Dad) and Uncle Gavin began the fireworks display with some of Andrew's help also. Aidan liked the fireworks and would yell "Yay!!", clap and then fuss. Eventually he asked to go on the screened porch. Logan would jump periodically but over all did not mind. We have a family pic taken in the morning...too bad Mom and Dad weren't stylin' like the boys. Meme bought all the younger grandkids and great grandkids hats for the 4th. We had the traditional picture of Meme with all her younger grand kids and great grandkids however, our camera sat on the table during that time. We'll have to get the pic from someone else. We also have a quick clip of some of our fireworks display and the kids reaction...and Carrie's. (I did not know it was going to be one of the super loud ones...it caught me off guard.) The beginning of the video is of Logan making sounds this morning..please excuse the focusing sound the camera makes...these videos are from our "still" camera.

Snoozing Logan

Even though Logan slept a lot while we were out today, he needed a nap when we got home too! Here's the pic Andrew took of him.

Fun at North Hills

Today we went to the Farmer's Market with Carrie's Mom. Aidan really enjoyed being fed all the samples of fruit. Grandma made sure he got a sugar cookie too. Mr. Logey slept most of the time, he did wake up and look around a little bit. On the way back home we made a pit stop at North Hills to meet Carrie's sister and her kids for lunch. We took the boys into a toy store there called Learning Express. Aidan really loved to play with the toys they have set up there. The only way we got him to come willingly out of the store was to tell him we had to go find Cousin Garreth. Aidan very happily then left the store and went to "search" for Garreth. Logan slept. Aidan ran around until Melanie and her kids arrived. We then all had lunch at Chick Fila. We had a WONDERFUL time! Here's a few snap shots of Aidan and Logan.

After the wading pool

Today we did not go to the big pool. We did however play in the wading pool in the evening time. Aidan came inside kicking and screaming because he wanted to play more!! Carrie zipped him up in a little wearable towel like thing to help dry off and keep warm while she got him new clothes. Aidan decided to take it off, but wasn't very successful. We had to take a picture for Andrew who was at work. We thought it was funny!

Dog Food

While we were vacuuming the kitchen we had to move the giant back of dog food around some. To Aidan that meant we had something new and exciting to climb on! So, while we finished vacuuming he had a nice time with the bag. Too bad for him it was then put into the dog food storage bin.

Logan's Swim Suit

Carrie searched high and low to find someone who made a swim suit for tiny guys like Logan. She finally found one at Janie and Jack. Now Logan is all set for some pool time and for the beach (if we can make a trip.) Today was the first day he wore it and she had to take a picture!
