With Aidan's sleeping habits lately it has become more than clear that the "big boy" bed from December is no longer acceptable. We kept hoping we could stretch it a bit longer however, Aidan's and our lack of sleep clarifies the neccessity of a True Big Boy Bed. Today after yet another HORRENDOUS nights sleep went went to the store on Andrew's lunch hour and brought home a bed. Aidan is so estatic!! We just had to go shopping for a few extra pieces to make it useful. More are still to come. There is one "bummer" about it. The crib Aidan had is a "lifetime" crib. Meaning it converts to a "toddler bed" and then to a full size head board and foot board. The catch though you need the wooden bedrails from the manufactuer. Do they make this crib anymore???!!! Does the manufacturer have a web site???!! NO!!! Soo...the crib is just a crib..yes we could make it fit but then what use would it be if we needed it as a crib again?? So until we decide on something we like we will make due with what you see here. Aidan is over the moon though. Why must they grow up so fast???!! Next thing we know he'll be ready for college.
