Public Saftey Day

We were hoping to be able to go to Public Saftey Day at the LRHS parking lot. Luckily everyone is recovering well from the past week and we got to go! Aidan like normal is timid at first. He has to get the lay of the land before he feels comfortable. Today we saw all sorts of Fire Trucks from several local Fire Departments, tons of police/sheriff vehicles, Sparky the Fire Dog, Kasey the bomb sniffing dog at RDU Airport, the Jaws of Life in action, and so much more!! Andrew and Carrie can't wait for next year! (We hope the boys will feel the same way!) We got snow cones, popcorn and hot dogs to eat. They had games and face painting too! A dream for a kid! The best part it was a free function! An entire day of fun for nothing out of pocket!! We left before they had the helicopters land!! We hope you enjoy our slide show of a little bit of what we saw!
