This evening we went and had dinner with Nana and Grandpop. The boys had A LOT of FUN. Logan got to show off his new hair cut too. There was a new toy for the boys to play with, A Home Depot workbench. The boys had a BLAST. Aidan really liked to hammer the nails into the bench. It did not take long and he was an old pro. Logan liked it too but was much more low key. Aidan was distracted with the tools so Logan got more time to play trains without Aidan taking over. We ate dinner and then went outside to feed the birds. Aidan was talking about helping Grandpop feed the birds for days prior. Aidan and Logan played a little basketball and the puppies got to play too. Roxy gets a little silly with balls and managed to catch a rebound before it hit the ground. As it turned out she wouldn't let go of the ball because she couldn't. Turns out her teeth got stuck in the basketball and her mouth was stuck wide open. Andrew worked it out for her and of course that did not stop her from wanting to get the ball again. Cooper enjoyed running in a nice big yard. He liked it a little too much. After some crazy loops through the front yard he skidded across the driveway recovered and crashed head on into the hedge that lines the Rogers' driveway. He is "smart" ( I use that word loosely for Coop.) and decided it was time to stop. A little later Carrie noticed Cooper was licking the back side of his leg. Turns out his crash and burn on the driveway skinned his Dorsal Pad pretty good it looked pretty gross and bloody. We got it cleaned up and covered so he wouldn't lick it. The vet said he should be fine but keep neosporin on it and don't let him lick the neopsorin. So, it now is only covered while the goo seeps in and then he'll leave it alone. Goofy dogs!!
