Pre-Trick or Treating

Halloween will hopefully be a bit more "fun" next year.  This year was cold and rainy.  That did not stop us.  Aidan had a blast and Daniel was good.   Poor Logan was so confused.  To him it was an entire night of Good Bye's.  He was hysterical and gagging.  So much stress for the Sweet Bitty.  We finally got home and Logan relaxed with a book on the recliner.  Of course trick or treating was still going on.  Every door bell ring brought back the hysterics.  It ended at 8p and we turned off the porch light, closed the door but kept our little Halloween lights on.  Everyone was in bed and Logan was very content.  (His bed is his "safe place".)  Sure enough someone who doesn't live in our neighborhood took the Halloween lights as a sign of "RING OUR DOORBELL!"  Poor Logan fell apart again.  We handed them candy (we were in our PJ's by then) and unplugged the lights.  Whew.
Definitely a different experience than last year where Logan had a blast running around.  Definitely a memorable one and to make sure we have extra hands to help out next year..just in case.
Luckily, Aidan and Daniel had fun and Logan has no hard feelings toward his chocolate.  :)
