I keep meaning to make an update in detail about what is happening around our house. Time is just a very hard thing to find around here..kind of like Andrew's iPod right now.
I have some videos and pictures that are really cute (yes, I am biased.) and will post them soon enough.
Aidan is loving school just as much if not more than last year. I have a meeting scheduled with his teacher to discuss some of his sensory issues that are flaring up recently. The stress around here has been pretty intense in the last few months and it is taking its toll on Aidan. He is also very frustrated with his Little Brothers and their frustrations. Most can figure he is not a happy camper about the amount of crying/yelling they produce. Overall he is doing better and we are more than ever trying to make sure he has some good one on one time.
Logan is making leaps and bounds. He has many more words. We still have minimal communication with him but hearing more words come is FANTASTIC! Most of the words are phrases he has heard before and rarely do anything with the situation or are helpful in anyways. However, if you find he wants apple juice, we have more of a chance of getting him to try to repeat it! This really is big news! Oh and yesterday he stopped by the garage door opener and said, "push it!" This is AWESOME! He is also babbling "Mamamamama" and is a bit more clingy if he thinks I am going to leave. His babbling of Mama is imitative of Daniel's babbling BUT it is being directed at me so, he knows what it means. It is a tad overwhelming but overjoys me tremendously! Our Logan is now 2.5 years old. OH MY! We had the local CDSA come out and evaluate him to see if he would qualify for some at home services to lessen the crazy of our weekly appointments. Our experience with them has been fantastic.
His eligibility evaluation was a bit of a shock for us. We heard nothing we did not already "know" (ie: parental instinct) but were hoping to hear it down the road. (For the selfish reasons of our ability to process and accept.) They spent over 3 hours in our home to observe, test and listen to our report of Logan and his doings. They left that evening and Logan was diagnosed as autistic. (I will post more specifically on this soon and what our end of Oct looks like.)
Daniel is moving around like a wild man lately! He is 10 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!! (how did we get here?!) He is walking!! OK, not like the other Boys. But he can get himself across a room with walking. He realizes that he covers ground much faster with crawling and resorts to that. The other day he also was standing and bent at the hips to pick up a toy and stood again! Oh yes and as of this past week he now has 4 teeth! All bottom teeth..we really are thinking he is part bull dog!
More fun posts coming soon!!
