2 month Check Up

Well, I went to see the doctor today.  I weigh in at 13 pounds 4 ounces and am 24 3/4 inches tall.  Mom and Dad say that my weight is in the 90th percentile and my height is in the 97th.  The doctor says I am perfect.  Mom and Dad have noticed a red mark on my chest and thought it to be a superficial hemangioma.  They checked with the doctor and he told them they were  correct.  He also says  it will get more red and raised over the next year but, will then eventually fade out in a few years.  I also got my first couple vaccines and it sure hurt my legs.  I cried for a good 5 minutes.  My Mom held and rocked me then I fell asleep.  I really like to talk a lot (bet you can't guess who that comes from.)  I don't go back to see the doctor until I am 4 months old.

My Dad is staying home with Mom and Me this week.  We are really having a good time all together.  

Dad says we'll get some new pictures up this week, he's been snap happy with the camera!  

Baptism!

Well, we had some snow today (at least that's what my parents say.)  I just know when we left for church I was bundled up very tightly.  My Mom and Dad took me to church to be baptized tonight.  I was a very good boy.  I was mostly awake and got hungry during Mass.  Then my Mom and Dad took my bottle away and I had water dumped on my head.  It got in my eyes but Mom wiped them for me.  I only fussed a little.  Then we went back to our house and had dinner with family.  I am pretty worn out now so I am going to bed.

I have a belly button. Finally!!

Well, it finally has happened!  My umbilical stump has fallen off.  It really wanted to stay with me.  I will be 7 weeks old on Sunday.  My Mom and Dad were starting to think that I may not ever have a belly button.  But, now I have a belly button with just a little scab in it.  So, tonight Mom says I am getting my first real bath!!

Merry Christmas!

Well, I woke up this morning , had a nice bottle and then got a lot of gifts.  I must of been a very good boy this year (I've been here a whole month today.)  After opening up my gifts I decided a I needed a nap.

e headed over to Meme and Papa's(one of my sets of Great Grandparents.)  It's pretty busy over there.  While we were there my Grandma got a picture of me and my cousins.  Garreth is holding me and Ansley is holding Tabitha who is one week old today!

One of the first smiles caught by the camera

Well, I was pretty happy this morning.   My Mom and Dad actually caught one of my first smiles on the camera.  After that I decided I needed to hang out with my brother Cooper.  My Dad got a few good pictures too.  I am an eating machine and getting pretty big.  I don't have to go back to the doctor until the end of January.  My parents are anxious to see how much I have grown.  I sleep pretty good at night, but I like to change it up on my parents so they don't get too comfortable.  

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

I just wanted to wish my Daddy a Happy Birthday as well!  It was a good day for everyone, including my Daddy! 

I had my amount of food that I ate in a sitting increased and Daddy decided to just let me eat until I stopped.  Lets just say the aftermath wasn't very pretty.  Once I let it all go, I was pretty content for the next couple of hours!  I got all cleaned up and so did Daddy, so everyone was happy!  Happy Birthday Daddy!

2 Week Check Up

Today I went to the doctors again.  They were hoping I would weigh 8 lbs 6 oz.  I beat that one, I weight 8.5 lbs now!!  I am now 22.25 inches tall too!  I have done a good bit of growing.  Mom thought I would because I have slept for 7.5-8 hours for three nights!  Not in a row of course.  Last week I stayed awake for 6 hours so I could hang out with my Dad when he got home from work.  Dad really liked that a lot.  I've hung out with my puppy dogs too, they really like to give me kisses and if I yell real loud they check on me to see how I am.  Funny how I  have everyone at home wrapped around my little fingers!
