Stawberry Picking

OK, so it's take a long time recently to get this blog back to up-to-date.
Today we met one of Andrew's co-workers and his family at the strawberry patch about a mile down the road from our house. The kids had a great time. It most definitely was hot though and some storms were in the process of brewing. We've had more rain than normal and it seemed to interfere with the crop. Sure were a lot of moldy berries. We took so many pictures it had to become a slide show. Aidan and Kyleigh really hit it off together. By the time we left they were holding hands. Aidan wasn't sure what to do at first but then kept coming back to her wanting to hold her hand again. Awwwwwwwww. Logan had a grande time crawling in the dirt and he REALLY wanted a berry. Soooooo, every so often we would pick one and give it to him to keep him from being angry. Needless to say he demolished every single one and would throw them on the ground. It resulted in one red strawberry smeared Logan. Pretty cute. Logan fell asleep on the way home and we took off his pants and put him on the couch to help cool him down. Well, this sleepy little guy decided to prop himself up on the armrest instead of the cushion. Don't worry we sat in front of him until he woke up. We did have some yummy strawberry shortcake for dessert too. Our little fruit eating machines have almost cleaned out the 5 lbs of berries we picked. :-)
