A Day at the Beach

YAAAY! Last Friday we made a trip to one of the local aquariums and also spent some time at the beach while we were there. We asked Andrew's Parents Don and Kate to come with us. We wanted to make sure Kate had a day at the beach for her birthday. It was a great day.

Like most trips we started late. I ran to the store early in the morning and managed to leave my wallet on my desk at home. I realized I had no way to buy my groceries when I had a cart full and was in line. Heh.

Of course none of our neighbors were home. Andrew called Kate and she came by to get my wallet and bring it to me. (THANK YOU KATE!)

The Boys did pretty well for the trip. A few fussy moments from Logan and Daniel. By the time we arrived on the island Logan had enough and made sure we knew it. Aidan had to take a potty break and then became nervous (earlier he was excited) about going to the aquarium.

We made it there and after a little bit Aidan became excited and happy about it. Logan was "talkative" he spent the after noon running around saying, "WOAH! WOAH! WOAH!" (each time was progressively louder.)

After we finished with the aquarium we headed to an ocean front restaurant for lunch. After lunch we hit the beach. Aidan doesn't care for wind but quickly got used to it. He dug a little in the sand but most of our time was in the surf. We did a little kite flying and then cleaned up the Boys to start the drive back home.

It was a pretty awesome day. Once back in the car Aidan informed us that he HAS to go back to the Beach and he HAS to fly his kite again. He used a nice firm tone to get his point across. :-)
