Public Safety Day
It's that time of year again! Time for the one of the local fire departments to host the Annual Public Safety Day. Andrew and I had a blast last year. Aidan warmed up to the crowd. Logan went along for the ride. This year the kiddo's had a lot of fun. Aidan was excited to go and Logan just sat back and absorbed it all. There were not as many vendors as last year and it wasn't nearly as crowded. Here's hoping next year will be a bit better for everyone. It was still a fun time. This year we missed the helicopter landing (again) but did get to actually see it and see it leave! Aidan was timid of the helicopter. We think he was afraid if he sat in it that he would have to leave in it. He's not a fan of sitting in things, like the coin operated cars. He likes to check them out but DO NOT put a quarter in it or he flips. Who knows?!? Logan had no problem sitting in the cock pit. He also took the liberty to run like a mad men through the baseball field. Which is understandable since we had him in the stroller a good bit. Both Boys enjoyed the slide and bounce house though. The event is "free" (since we pay tax dollars to them)and a local church offered free drinks, hot dogs, pop corn, snow cones for everyone. (they did the same last year too.) It's a really fun things to see and take part of. We have a little collage of a few pictures. Oh yes, Aidan actually participated in the face painting this year....well, he's not big on strangers touching him (who could blame him!) but he did get a basketball painted on his forearm. He was so proud! We also have a little video of the Boys sliding on the blow up slide.
