Typical Evening...well if it is not still triple digit heat..

The days have cooled slightly so we have been making use of the treeless backyard. When Andrew gets home from work we let the Boys go run amuck until dinner is ready. If dinner is ready early then they eat and we go out and play until close to bedtime. Here are some shots from tonight. Everyone enjoys being outside. Andrew and Carrie are looking forward to and welcome some fall temperatures. Plus we have a fire pit (for over a year now) that we have yet to use. Perhaps we can this fall after the Boys hit the hay! (High hopes :-) )
Aidan prefers golfing in the backyard. We have lots quite a few balls over the wooden fence and they have been sacrificed we think by the neighbors dogs. Logan prefers playing on the little jungle gym and watching air planes. Cooper just relaxes and Roxy chases balls. Andrew has been slowly progressing her back to her love of fetching and her new knee is working out nicely. Unfortunately, we won't let her get as crazy as she used to. We can only fix one knee and statistics show that a dog with blown cruciate has much higher chances of tearing the other side. We're hoping that will not be the case. We're letting her play but keeping her reigns on. Also, her cruciate that was blown was in the same knee that had a subluxating patella at one point so we're hoping that was the major factor. OK, saying hoping meaning the other knee is "healthy" and stays in place so it should be stronger right??! That's the hope. Anyways, enough rambling.
