Splashground Fun

Today we headed to the Splashground with a friend of mine and her precious little one. We have only in the past week discovered the wonders of it. Well, Wednesday resulted in us leaving the house late and then Aidan having a stand off in the bathroom. The wonderful Public Big Potty Fears. This time (compared to Monday at the mall) I kept my cool (even though I was SUPER frustrated..he would rather pee his pants than use a Big Potty at certain places...more so if they don't have a handle to flush..stupid autoflush) and after a stand off of over 30 minutes he peed in the potty so we could go out to the pool. Poor Logan sat in the stroller and screamed while a complete stranger (with a Son..) told me how that is where they were a year ago. She was very kind and Aidan was more than willing to go into a stall with the Boy to see how the potty flushed. Aidan actually thought he was going to get to potty with this Boy. (HAHA YEAH RIGHT.) I thanked her for her help and understanding. My friend called to check on us because she saw us pull up too. She then joined us in the locker room and her and her Kiddo kept Logan company. Sooooo..back to today. Aidan was ready and willing to hit the potty because he had done it there before!!! YAAY! Andrew also took over potty duties while we were there too. Andrew got to see Aidan's reactions to another man using a urinal. "Look Daddy he's using a stand up potty!!!!!" Luckily, the man had kids and told Andrew he remembered the freak outs over public potties. The splashground is super cool it's a water playground pretty much. There is also a wading pool probably the biggest we've seen and a covered outdoor pool. It was a great day. We got a few pictures and a couple video clips of the Boys in the splash ground. It was a super nice day!
