The collage above shows the steps Andrew and I took yesterday to take this project on the home stretch. We sent the Boys to my Parent's for the day and worked kid free. We top two rows show the evolution of the toy room and the bottom row is the office. The pictures below are the end result minus all of the furniture and pictures etc. But, to where the rooms are completely functional. We still want to put french doors on the office however, that requires framing down the opening so we can hang doors. That will be sometime but not right now. Right now, the rooms are functional. When we fram down the doorway, that will require more building, drywall , moulding and painting all over again. We are not 100% satisfied with our work but at that time will fix the bothersome items. The toy room (dining room) to kid-less people needs the light relocated but, that will be done eventually too and should be a "quick" weekend project. For now it turns on and off and is swagged so no adults knock themselves out on it. :-)
