The Last of the Circus Pics!

Half of the Osterhoudts and Rogers The painting elephant..I think her name was Priscilla Staring at the elephant painting Now not looking at the elephant...I was on my Dad's head...not shoulders head! Painting her picture that someone won!

The Circus!!

Last night I went to the circus! Mom and Dad said they had a nice time watching me take in the experience. We were seven rows from the floor. We could smell the animals!! I waved at all the animals and people. I would clap too! I liked the pyrotechnics and flashing lights. My parents and I went out to dinner at Panera before hand too. We arrived early so we could walking on the floor and see the performers up close and personal. We watched a clown spin plates, an elephant paint a picture, a man dancing on stilts, and a trapeze artist. Then we made our way to our seats for the show to begin! I really liked the girl on the trapeze hoop I couldn't take my eyes off of her. Mom and Dad said the night was sensory overload, I just stared everything and every one down. We got to see seven motorcycles driving in a big round cage and a tight rope motorcycle!! The tightrope motorcycle was right in front of our seats, he also had a trapeze bar underneath him with a woman on it!! I would get excited and sit up real straight when the engine would rev and they would zoom up the rope. We got to see dogs, llamas, goats, horses, ponies, a porcupine, elephants, and tigers!! During intermission I decided it was time to talk. We had already passed bed time and I did not nap well yesterday due to my last few teeth coming in. I would cuddle Mom then Dad to go to sleep and then a loud noise would happen and I just could not miss it! I sure had fun but am tired today. We went with our friends the Osterhoudts. Chandler and I did not interact much because there was way too many other things going on!! I sure hope I get to go again!! Here are some pictures we took just before the show began. Attempting to Cheese with Dad...notice Circle came with us. She was who I was staring at...the drool is just a side effect of the teething...not the girl. ;-)

Logan Joseph's Nursery

Logan Joseph's nursery is underway! Last week it was painted and had chair rail hung. Andrew painted the chair rail last Friday and hung up a shade for the window. The crib is currently full of clothes to be put away and other junk that was in the room. We are working on weeding out the junk and putting everything in it's place. The changing table/dresser is cleaned up and out, ready for clothes and supplies. We have gotten a few decorations and will be putting them up soon. Today Carrie had her fasting glucose test since we are now in the final three months of the pregnancy! We have to go back on the 16th for an ultrasound to make sure Logan is doing well. They were a little concerned that Carrie's belly measurement was on the smaller side of normal. We are focusing that it was in the normal range and they are just being cautious. We have noticed how much smaller Carrie's belly is this time around, however she has gained as much weight at 28 weeks as she did with Aidan at 30 weeks!! We are staying busy and looking at the ultrasound as more pictures of Logan!! We will post an updated from the ultrasound when it is done. Right now please enjoy the few pictures of the very empty nursery of Logan Joseph!

A few more snow pics!

Snow Day!!

Today we got snow!!!! We had a little back in November, but nothing like this! On our back patio Mom and Dad said we had snow about 4 inches high! That's a lot for around here. Mom, Dad and I had a nice warm breakfast of Cream of Wheat and then we layered on the clothes to go out. Dad took a picture of Mom dressing me. Good thing Mom went out last night bought the last pair of snow boots in my size at Target! I walk pretty well in them, but outside it was hard because of the depth of the snow. I kept face planting in the snow. We spent about 15 minutes outside, the wind was blowing and it was still snowing! Mom and Dad decided I needed to come in. I was very mad and threw a hissy fit for Mom while Dad was outside cleaning off the Jeep so he could go into work. He went in 30 minutes late so he could play with me. We went out again right before lunch but I was hungry and did not get to the play with the twins down the street like I Mom was hoping. Mom figured out that I can say "Bye Bye" today. I finally clued her in when I was saying it and trying to jimmy all the door knobs to get back outside. Too bad for me Mom and Dad keep all the dead bolts locked too! I am not tall enough to reach those yet. Please enjoy the pictures!! I sure do like snow!

My Backyard!

Today was a nice Saturday, it was a little windy but warm enough for me to play in the backyard for the first time since I could walk!! Dad showed my around my little play set. I slid down the slide a few times. I preferred walking around the grass touching it and trying to keep my footing on the smalls inclines in the back yard. Walking on uneven ground is kind of tough! I keep falling and had a hard time getting up. We have had a lot of rain lately and my parents found out that it was still a little wet. You will notice the mud/dirt stains on my knees and rear. I had a nice time though and then Mom, Dad, the dogs and me went for a stroll around the neighborhood. Fresh air sure makes for some good napping!!

Hangin' with Chandler

Today Mom and I went over to the Osterhoudt's. Our families did not get to see each other much over the holidays due to me being under the weather. However, we are all healthy so our Mom's thought it would be good for us to play. Chandler has not seen me since I have been running around. We had a nice time and played trains. I really liked the milk tank for one of the train cars. I liked to chew on it and when Mom got me buckled in the car found it still in my hand! Mom ran back inside and gave it back to Chandler. It sure was good to teeth on. Chandler has a little brother too, Mom was holding him and I did not like it at first. My Mom let me see him and I took his pacifier and made him cry. Once Brighton was crying I was content to go play trains and let my Mom hold him. Here is an attempt at getting Chandler and I to look at the camera.
