Today was Grandpop's Birthday. Aidan and Logan helped Carrie make a pound cake for dessert. Aidan helped crack the eggs, add the flour and sugar too. He was a very willing taste tester of the batter. Logan of course wants to be part of everything too. Logan enjoyed looking in the mixer and very slyly trying to stick his hand in there. Don't worry he never did! He had a grand time helping out too. We then packed up everyone to head to Nana and Grandpop's for dinner. I think the boys enjoyed dessert the most. We had to sing "Happy Birthday" a few extra times for Aidan too. We then feasted on pound cake and fresh berries while the boys helped open the presents. Aidan and Logan also helped decorate the wrapping paper too. They had a fantastic time and then we had to pack up and get the tired ones to bed. Logan fell asleep on the way home and did not wake up until morning! Birthday's sure are exhausting!!
