Roxy/Potty Training Update

Andrew and I visited Roxy last night. The vet was pretty busy so we couldn't stay long. She was a little freaked out and wanted to run even though she had an IV connected to her kennel. This morning when I got the update from the vet she said Roxy is doing fantastic. She is amazed that she had the TPLO surgery yesterday. She is moving around but relaxed in her kennel. She is pulling the people around when on potty breaks too. She said it would find for us to visit her that she doesn't seem too stressed out. So, we packed up the kids and the potty and dropped them off at my Parent's house. Aidan showed Grandma and Grandpa he willingness to use the potty and awareness very well. He is a peeing machine! Our accidents are minimal. The resistance to take potty breaks only arises know when he is tired. We don't blame him. We are so very proud of his progress and willingness to try. He is extremely proud of himself. Right now he does best with no pants on at all. (For those skeptics out there, don't knock it until you try it.) So we are hoping to start getting him used to underwear next week if all goes well. Right now when he feels there are underwear there he reverts back to diaper time and pees/poops right in them. He is much more aware without the skiivies. Roxy looked great tonight!! She already is putting more weight on her leg than before surgery. She is much more relaxed tonight. She also was suckering everyone in there to give her treats. They said she has been a very good girl and very eager to go outside and check everything out. We cannot wait to bring her home tomorrow. She'll be bandage free too. We are interested to see what it all looks like without the bandages.
