Museum of Life and Science

Today we went to the Durham Museum of Life and Science. The Boys enjoyed the indoor activities a little bit but were more ready for the outdoors. Too bad it was almost 100 today. It was SOOOOO hot. We got tickets to ride the train too. So even though the Boys were done we still waited around for the train ride. They weren't fans of waiting but it sure seemed the enjoyed the train ride. Logan liked the 'pretend play' area, mostly the veterinary area. They had a little stable for a toy pony. It turns out it was just his size. He tried to climb on it. So then I thought well, he doesn't weigh much I bet he can sit on it..And so he did. Aidan was all about seeing the dinosaurs they had on the dinosaur trail. The were all obscure dinosaurs though, distant relatives of the T-Rex and Triceratops. We had to read all the signs before we could actually tell him what it was. He just knows the basic dino's so far. He enjoyed it though.
Here is Noah making some music with Mommy and Daddy. What better way to have fun than to be allow to bang things with a wooden stick!
Here we were at a water exhibit. You could pump the various parts and watch where the water came out. It was so hot some parents were letting their kids play in the running water. It was super slippery and steep. Of course Aidan wanted to do what they were doing so we had to find something else to do because we really did not feel the need for a head injury or stitches.
Here is the actual video of Logan riding the little pony.
This video has all kiddos in it. It was a nice area where they could all go do separate things but still be in the same "area."
Here is Noah cooling off inside right before we went to the Butterfly Garden. The kiddos were pretty hot and tired at this point.
Here's the train we rode on!!
